'Tis the time of year...to regroup. The DeCarley Newsletter frequency will slow down until after the New Year.
The holiday season is upon us. During this time of year liquidity dries up and markets often behave even more irrationally than usual. Accordingly, it is generally a time to focus on cutting risk exposure and clearing heads. Also, we have noticed clients tend to be less attentive this time of year; rather than sending unwanted communications and wasting time and effort on both sides, we have found it makes the most sense to slow down the pace of newsletters over the holidays.
If we see interesting market action or potentially attractive opportunities we will send a newsletter, as usual, otherwise, please use the period from Thanksgiving to New Year to enjoy time with friends and family.
In the meantime, if you have questions about previously suggested strategies or would like a quick opinion on a particular market, don't be shy. We will be working and following markets as usual...just with a lot less typing :)
