Stock and financial futures markets will be closed on December 5th to honor the passing of President George H.W. Bush.

The CME group will halt trading on all US equity index products and interest rate products for the Wednesday trading session.  However, all other products such as energies, metals, grains, meats, and currencies will trade normally.  See notes from the exchange below:

EQUITY INDEX: The CME Globex trading session for U.S. Equity Index products will close at 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. International Equity Index products will have normal trading hours. Equity transactions submitted on CME ClearPort will have normal hours. Please note, all U.S. Equity Index settlements will carry forward from the previous trade date and any related Wednesday Option Expirations will now expire on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. U.S. Equity Index BTIC and TACO products will be closed.

INTEREST RATES: The CME Globex and CME ClearPort trading sessions for Interest Rate products will be closed on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Please note, all Interest Rate Wednesday Option Expirations will now expire on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
