ELECTION RISK REDUCTION AND DAY TRADING MARGIN CHANGES

We encourage clients to strongly consider lightening their risk and margin load for next week's election. While we can't predict or control the outcome, or more importantly, how the market reacts to the outcome, we can control which positions are open going into Tuesday. For those of you trading large quantities in high concentration, it is probably a good idea to have hedges (maybe long options or micro futures). If you are unsure of whether your portfolio is too aggressive, please reach out to us for help.

Futures traders, please be aware that Stonex will not be granting day trading margins after Monday's session. For overnight trade on Monday night through Wednesday's close, expect margin to be set at 100% of the exchange requirements. The risk management team will reassess the day trading margin policy on Wednesday's close.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We appreciate your business.
