It is rare to see large gaps on a mid-week open because most futures contracts are only closed for an hour. But something happened between 5 pm and 6 pm Eastern that triggered a liquidation event. I don't recall the US dollar ever doing this. :) #gold #debasement #dollar #preciousmetals #metals
