Live Cattle futures advanced on Wednesday, supported by ongoing supply constraints. The April contract rose $3.80 to 241.22, moving within one tick of filling a gap from the previous week. Feeder Cattle futures also gained ground as feedlots held for higher prices amid firm market fundamentals. The March Feeder Cattle contract climbed $3.33 to 368.10, while the April contract reached 365.17. In contrast, Lean Hogs futures declined for a fourth consecutive session as the market continued to correct from overbought levels. The April Lean Hogs contract dropped $1.38 to 94.12, bringing the total four-day decline to $5.63. Traders noted that while the technical correction persists, broader hog fundamentals remain neutral.
