Cattle futures rally. Lean Hog futures trade sideways. 10/6/25

Livestock futures moved higher on Monday, with Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures gaining while Lean Hog futures traded sideways. A slowed slaughter pace gave a boost to Live Cattle futures, while Feeder Cattle futures rose as traders bought with confidence despite the lack of USDA reports. Lean Hog futures stabilized after a lower open, with demand remaining strong.
