Crude is up today as Iran and the US's scheduled diplomatic meeting in Qatar is in question. While the US has been public about the planned meet, Iran has stated that no talks are scheduled. Despite the "MOU", both sides have traded attacks, with Iran claiming sovereignty over the strait and attacking tankers. While traffic through the strait has picked up, it's still tepid as the "MOU" doesn't prevent ships from being attacked (apparently).
