Chinese carmaker Seres, once a small minivan manufacturer, has rapidly risen to the top of China’s luxury electric vehicle segment. Its M9 SUV was the best-selling model in China’s luxury category last year, outperforming established brands like Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Bloomberg TV’s Chief North Asia Correspondent Stephen Engle visited the company’s Chongqing plant to learn more.
