Cotton Fades Lower on Thursday

Cotton futures were under pressure late, despite supportive outside markets, as contracts were down 24 to 60 points. Crude oil was up $2.46 per barrel on the session, with the US dollar index $0.562 lower. The Seam reported 3,109 bales sold on Wednesday, at an average of 76.59 cents/lb.
