Livestock futures posted universal gains on Wednesday. 3/4/26

Livestock futures moved higher on Wednesday, led by gains in the cattle complex. Live Cattle futures rose as boxed beef prices increased, with Choice up 6.71 and Select up 0.37. April Live Cattle reached 239.00, having added nearly 11.00 since Monday. Feeder Cattle futures showed even stronger momentum, climbing 16.00 since the start of the week as packers became more aggressive in their buying. April Feeder Cattle futures finished at 361.22. In the Lean Hogs quadrant, prices firmed up as pork cutouts were expected to increase amid strong demand. April Lean Hogs broke out of a week-long pause, rising 1.55 to finish at 97.30.
