The US and Iran made “encouraging progress” in talks on a peace deal and will continue technical-level discussions this week, according to mediators Qatar and Pakistan. The parties agreed on a roadmap toward reaching a final deal within 60 days and established a communication line to avoid incidents and miscalculations.
