Nvidia Sinks After Warning Chip Curbs Will Cost $5.5 Billion

The Trump administration has barred Nvidia from selling its H20 chip in China, which will cost the company billions of dollars and affect its product line.
The new rules are part of Washington's efforts to limit China's semiconductor and artificial intelligence ambitions, and are seen as an escalation of the tech battle between the US and China.
The restrictions will impact Nvidia's revenue, with estimated writedowns of $5.5 billion, and may also affect other chipmakers, including AMD, Samsung, and SK Hynix. Bloomberg's Michael Shepard Reports.
